Logistics on the Run

Well, we've been blessed with so much and most of it involving music, so i'm not complaining, but today is a fly day (meaning we're flying to a gig instead of driving) and I gotta say, I'm enjoying it a LOT.  There is no driving, deploying, hooking up electric, dumping, checking tire pressure, anchoring everything down, no equipment to tear down, put up, yadda, yadda..., we just sit back and enjoy our flights.  Yes, this is good for now.

The longer I tour, the more I realize that the joy is absolutely in the journey, because our destinations are fleeting.  Just like our goals and our lives, we are always moving in new directions or at least moving forward with new ideas, new thinking, goals, anything to expand ourselves.

There is absolutely no way to go backward, so there's no sense in trying, it's like arguing with reality.  Every day is a new opportunity to become more.. . . more caring, more patient (that's one for me), more well-read, more helpful, more healthy (mentally, physicall, spiritually), in all ways.  Not all at the same time, but just one thing at a time.
